Over 1 million people are diagnosed with cancer
each year. Approximately 1 out of every 2 American men and 1 out of every 3
American women will have some type of cancer during their lifetime.
Today, millions of people are
living with cancer or have been cured of the disease. Early detection is an
important weapon in the fight against cancer. The sooner a cancer is found and
treatment begins, the better the patients’ chance for survival and/or a cure.
